What is it?
This worksheet offers a simple way to think about decision-making through the lens of values. It helps clients notice when they’re at a “choice point” and choose actions that move them toward the kind of person they want to be.

 

It’s helpful for:
Clients who want to break old habits or move away from avoidance. Especially relevant for behaviour change work and values-based goal setting.

 

How to use it:
Pick a recent situation and reflect on whether they made a “towards” or “away” move. Use the columns to brainstorm alternative actions, and remind clients that every moment is a fresh chance to choose again.
